Many of you might not have heard of LVT flooring due to the fact that it is the latest advancement in the flooring industry. LVT according to some is the complete flooring solution because it is durable, water resistant and can be fitting in all areas of the house. It is manufactured using multiple layers of PVC vinyl, which is mixed with numerous compounds to give it its hardness effect. A rolling process suspended in liquid is then carefully carried out to compresses those layers of PVC. This is then dried through the application of heat and air to produce tough sheets of vinyl. The top layer is then topped up with another deep layer to give it the realistic effect of wood or stone, e.g. texture.
